Aweigh From Life is a 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home that sits on over an acre of secluded forested land, on Cape Meares Lake Front.  It has been lovingly renovated and some of it's most cherished features have been saved for a new generation of memories.

The first floor which is the entry floor, has a full size kitchen, dining room with two bedrooms (1 Queen and 1 bunkbed), game room and bathroom.  This is perfect for a guest that can't climb steps.  

The second floor has a living room, 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, sitting room with books and games.

Each floor has a spectacular view of Cape Meares Lake and the surrounding wildlife.

ape Meares is home to a variety of wildlife.
Elk, bear, deer and many species of birds
are found in this unique coastal setting.  Parts of Cape Meares and nearby Three Arch Rocks are National Wildlife Refuges. From April through
July, the steep cliffs and offshore rocks are nesting sites for thousands of seabirds, including common murres, pelagic and Brandt’s cormorants and pigeon guillemots. Peregrine falcons occasionally nest on the
cliffs in the spring.

Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint is a prime location for whale watching. Migrating whales may be seen from December to January as they head south to calving grounds in Mexico and again March to April as they head north to Alaska. Volunteers help visitors spot whales during designated whale watching weeks in December and March.  A population of about 200–400 whales feeds along the Oregon coast throughout the summer.  Other marine mammals such as sea lions, dolphins
and porpoise may be seen from Cape Meares’ excellent viewpoints.

Street names pay homage to the now-vanished town of Bayocean, once located on the nearby hiking spot at Bayocean Spit, which became a ghost town and washed into the sea. The surrounding Sitka Spruce forest contains towering trees, as well as the bizarre &ldquo;Octopus tree.&rdquo; As day fades, walk the beach, build a campfire, and tell your own stories.</p>
